The costings system contains the Bill of Materials, Labour, Fixed Costs, Variable Cost and all the relevant Product Information.
The costings system brings all this information together and calculates Total Unit costs, Total cost per KG.
The costings report shows unit cost breakdown.
These costs are used throughout the manufacturing system and are used to create MYOB Exo GL transactions and Average costs when receipting finished goods into stock. These costings are live costings and change on the fly as and when raw materials are received which change the average cost of inventory. The system also can create costings based on Average cost, Latest Cost, or contract cost and displays which option was used.
The product details form (below) is accessible from within the MYOB Exo system. It displays information relating to product Specs, Production information(mixes per hour, wastage), etc
The components Tab displays recipe, Packaging, Overheads and Labour Costs relating to the product.
